YV club champion for 2012

Ted van Geldermalsen is the Yarra Valley Club Champion for 2012 after an almost error-free run at Irishtown on May 27th.  Ted completed the M55 course of 6.1 km in 61 minutes, 14 secs.  The Irishtown map covers areas of complicated goldmining terrain and it is easy to get lost amongst the mounds and erosion gullies if you’re not careful.  Second in the club championship was last year’s winner Russell Bulman who also ran in M55, and third was Ruth Goddard who ran in W65.  Full results are in the June club newsletter.
